CAMARONES DEL SUR, S.A. DE C.V. (CAMARSUR) was established as a business on November 23, 1987. The founders are Fidencio Bonilla Carrasco and Yolanda Robles Ortez. Camarsur excels as a business dedicated to farming, commercialization and exporting of Litopenaeus Vannamei Shrimp, also known as the white shrimp of the Pacific.
Our business is located in southern Honduras, with a production area of 820 hectares and 44 lagoons. Each lagoon is managed under strict quality controls to provide clients an innocuous and exquisite product that outstands for its nutritional value, texture, flavor and color. On an average, 3 million pounds of shrimp are annually produced. The main markets are Mexico, Europe and Taiwan.
